SWEET RETREAT SUNDAY
In many great spirit traditions there is this idea of "retreating" from the world for a precious moment of pause to nourish and replenish yourself. Unfortunately, we don't always have the time or money to spend 2 weeks to a month in silent retreat at a far off location. This is exactly why I'm offering "Sweet Retreat Sunday"! We have this beautiful, serene space right here at Peaceful Plum Yoga, let's use it!!!


This will be a morning of contemplation, inner reflection, and silence! I encourage you to say "Yes!" to yourself, put it on your calendar, and come join me for this mini-retreat. Our Sweet Retreat will begin with a gentle/restorative yoga practice, followed by silence, we will round out the morning with a spirit circle and guided meditation.

During this workshop, we will embark on a meditative shamanic journey that will connect you to your personal spirit guides. 

Your spirit guides are light beings (like YOU!) who reside in the spirit realm as angels, ancestors, and teachers who lovingly assist you on your human journey.  While you already know these beings on a deep soul level, this workshop will introduce them to your human self so you can consciously receive the guidance, wisdom, and grace they have to offer you.

YOGA NIGHT OUT!!!  RESTORE & RENEW WORKSHOP

Enjoy a beautiful evening of restoration and renewal!
We'll start the evening off with an energy clearing and gentle grounding meditation to set our intention for deep relaxation.

With our intentions set we will begin our Restorative Yoga practice with essential oils. During Restorative Yoga we will hold gentle yoga poses while being supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Using props allows the body an opportunity to 'let go' and relax while the mind is able to move into a place of peace and stillness.

Ending our evening we will luxuriate in the sweet serenity of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra means Yogic sleep and is a form of deeply relaxing guided meditation.

*For every and all skill levels from the very beginner to the seasoned practitioner!

2016 SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE

RESTORATIVE YOGA SERIES
with Shauna

Restorative Yoga is, simply, a restorative practice.

Using bolsters, blocks, and straps in poses that are nourishing for the body and mind. We stay in each pose for an extended amount of time, which gives the muscles an opportunity to let go and relax.

Restorative Yoga is a wonderful addition to your current yoga practice or as a stand alone practice. Used for deep relaxation and restoration, allowing time for the mind to become quiet and the body to release and surrender.

***There is no flowing or difficult transitions in this class, all poses are done on the mat with no standing poses. It is a gentle, restorative class that is accessible to ALL. Wonderful for anyone needing time to de-stress, relax, and restore, or those healing through an injury/managing chronic pain.

WHEN: Saturdays, September 3, 10, 17, & 24
TIME: 11:45-1pm

BEGINNER YOGA SERIES

​   When: WEDNESDAYS, SEPTEMBER 14, 21, 28 & OCTOBER 5

   Time: 6-7:30PM

*Learn the basics of yoga! We will take the time needed in this beginner class to break down yoga postures, cover yoga etiquette, learn breath techniques to reduce stress, and be guided through gentle meditations. Each class will include a short lecture followed by a gentle yoga practice, with time allotted for questions and discussion.
